Parks and Hiking Trails

For public park offerings, it’s tough to be Mission Bend. Besides Mission Bend Community Park and their local art shows, there’s also George Bush Park in West Oaks. Mission Bend has a swimming pool and tennis courts. Bush Park is known for its beautiful views, so it’s a place not to be missed. People always remark about Mission Bend because it’s a friendly town that shows tremendous diversity, as there’s a mix of ethnicities from around the Houston metro and the world. Celebrate traditional Southern culture by attending the Crawfish, Cajun & Lobster event held in Houston each March, and celebrate Brazilian culture at the Brazilian Food & Music Festival held in nearby Sugar Land.
